MY TAKE IS A CONCEPTUAL & ABSTRACT APPROACH TO PURPOSEFUL VISUAL NARRATION & STORYTELLING.
The process and goal is focused on storytelling and metaphorical imaging and narration, creating something that stimulates more than the eyes and goes beyond design serving as optics. I want to create digestible meaning and impactful stories out of everyday static information through smart and thoughtful visual design. I am determined on harnessing a concept-driven approach to build brands and smoothly extend their vision across multiple applications.
I am born and raised in Dubai, with a British education, and originally Indian. It has been a 6,916-mile incredible decision to come to Philadelphia to pursue design. I am obsessed with strong concept-driven design, so my mind and eyes are always open for potential narratives and storytelling opportunities, which I get from just about everything from documentaries, historical figures and changemakers, to a picture I took of a stairwell flooring. If not in front of my computer, I’m usually out exploring new spaces and food, buying excessive Muji stationery and spelling colour with a ‘u’.
Currently Working On: “The Shape of Sleep” - An independent design-research project to access, interpret and visualize a conscious dream/thought through the use of musical notation as the medium for translation and flow of information. (ask me about it!)
